Clinright 300mg capsules are an antibiotic medication used to treat serious bacterial infections. Clindamycin, the active ingredient, is effective against a range of anaerobic bacteria and is particularly useful for patients who are allergic to penicillin.

Uses:

Dosage:

• Adults:
  • For serious infections: 150–300 mg every 6 hours.
  • For more severe infections: 300–450 mg every 6 hours.

  • For serious infections: 8–16 mg/kg per day, divided into three or four doses.
  • For more severe infections: 16–20 mg/kg per day, divided into three or four doses.

Side Effects:

Serious side effects can include:

• Severe allergic reactions (e.g., rash, difficulty breathing)
• Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD), which can occur during or after treatment.

3. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking the medication to prevent esophageal irritation.
