Uses:

• First-line treatment of hormone receptor-positive or unknown locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women.
• Extended adjuvant treatment for early breast cancer after prior standard adjuvant tamoxifen therapy.
• Supportive therapy for early breast cancer to prevent recurrence.
• Treatment of advanced breast cancer in postmenopausal women whose disease has progressed following anti-estrogen therapy.
